A Cum Laude graduate of SMU with a B.A. in Political Science and a B.B.A. in Finance, Kristi was honored with the university’s highest award. After graduation, Kristi served as a legal clerk for a high-powered national law firm and created systems and processes to improve the management and organization of the National Security Agency as a consultant.
She dedicated several months of her life to learning international affairs while working in Britain’s Parliament and studying at the London School of Economics. Today, she’s a project management cost analyst at one of the nation’s leading nuclear power plants.
Kristi’s commitment to our parish and city is evident in her willingness to serve her community. Kristi has served as a Board Member on the Kenner Historic District Design Commission, the Kenner Alcohol Beverage Commission, and she participated in the Kenner Citizens Police Academy. She is active at the Vineyard Church, as a Little Kingdom kids’ ministry volunteer, and was on the inaugural PTO Board of Kenner Discovery Health Science Academy where she served as President of the school’s parents club.
As a concerned resident in Kenner, Kristi led the Beachview Heights Civic Association for the past 8 years, a position she still holds today. Somehow, she still found time to volunteer at her neighborhood playground where she coached a championship flag football team. Kristi’s deep knowledge of the city and strategic vision will accelerate Kenner’s development.
Kristi follows a simple but direct doctrine. Trust is earned. Words and actions must align. The people you serve come first. We can depend on Kristi to bring new ideas to life and invigorate the council with a can-do spirit that is healthy and inspiring.
